A Prayer For Grandma
Dear Father in Heaven,
We thank You today, as we celebrate the life of this special woman who is so much a part of who we are. We are thankful that we have each known her and we will carry special memories of her.
Proverbs 31 tells us about a Wife Of Noble Character. She is worth far more than rubies. Among other things: She makes coverings for her beds; She is clothed with strength and dignity; She can laugh at the days to come; She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. It asks that she be given the reward that she has earned and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
Lord, You are gracious and merciful. May we each hold You in our hearts as we hold Grandma there as well. We release her to You and look forwards to the day that we will join her in Your Kingdom.
Amen
