Peacefully at the Carleton Place Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, February 3, 2010, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Edward Lloyd White (October 10, 2000). Dear mother of Donald (Helen) of Ottawa and Douglas (Leslie) of Iqaluit, Nunavut. Cherished grandmother of Jeffrey (Irina Cordero), Noel (Anne Shropshire) and Nathan. Adoring great-grandmother to Martin White Cordero and Fredrick Shropshire White. Daughter of the late Thomas David Jackson and Ellen (Nellie) Stanley. Predeceased by her brother Cecil (Alice) and sisters Lola and Velma Yuill (Alfred). Survived by her sister-in-law, Edna Ritchie (Stan).

Friends may call at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home & Chapel, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place on Sunday, February 7 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm and Monday, February 8 from 10-11 am. Funeral service will be held at 11 am in the chapel with Rev. Fr. David Andrew officiating. Interment at St. John's Cemetery, Innisville will be held in the Spring. Donations to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
