Peacefully at Fairview Manor on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at the age of 77, in the presence of his devoted daughters Cindy and Shelley. He has left us to be with his beloved wife of 50 years, Lois who predeceased him on November 27, 2005. Everett will be missed and lovingly remembered by his four children Kim (Joanne), Cindy (Darryl Ferguson), Shelley (David Charles) and Annette (Bill Feeney). Everett was an adoring grandfather of six grandchildren Kaleigh, Krista, Kyle, Chad, Andrew and Olivia and one great-granddaughter Amber. Dear brother of William, Maynard and Wilmer.
Friends may call at the ALAN R. BARKER FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place on Monday February 8, 2010 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the spring at United Cemeteries. For those who wish, a donation to the Alzheimer's Society or the Almonte General Hospital/Fairview Manor Foundation would be appreciated. The family would like to give special thanks for the exceptional care given to Everett while he was at both the Fairview Manor and the Rosamond Wing of Almonte General Hospital.
